SIMPLE 2 STEP PROCESS
STAGE 1 - FIU | DUE DILIGENCE

Principal (and other applicants) complete the Nomination Form and prepare the Stage 1 Documents for VIC review.

Once VIC confirm documents in order, the FIU diligence fee of $5,000 per applicant over 18 years (non-refundable) is then paid to VIC who lodge Stage 1 of the Application.

DD is conducted by Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU). Upon written confirmation of no adverse findings, FIU Clearance is granted for the Application to proceed to Stage 2.

STAGE 1 DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Passport Copy – bio page (min 6 months) notarized

  • Police Clearance Report - notarized

  • Photo Identity Card or Driver’s License - notarized

  • Resume including education and employment history

FIU CLEARANCE - within 3 days of submission 

STAGE 2 - CITIZENSHIP APPLICATION

 

Applicant/s complete Stage 2 documentation and makes full payment to VIC Limited and VIC submit to Screening Committee min 8 days prior to Citizenship Commission meeting held twice a month.

 

After Citizenship Commission (CC) approves the Application, an approval letter is issued. Oath Taking Ceremony is then organized for the applicant to receive their Vanuatu Citizenship and Passport.

 

Due to travel restrictions Ceremonies may be conducted via Skype and Passports and Certificates couriered.

STAGE 2 DOCUMENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Complete the Nomination Form – Part 2

  • Certification of Birth – notarized

  • Medical Certificate

  • 1 Colour Photo (40mm x 50mm) Jpeg file

  • Bank Reference/Statement – (main applicant only)

  • Asset Report – notarized – (main applicant only)

  • Marriage Certificate – (main applicant)

  • 3 Professional Referees – (main applicant only)

  • Employment Letter – (main applicant only)

  • Proof of Residential Address x 3 (utility bill etc)


CITIZENSHIP GRANTED - within 5 days of CC Meeting
